Mazda 3 Service Manual: Neutral Switch Inspection [Mzr 2.0, Mzr 2.5]
Continuity Inspection
1. Remove the battery cover..
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable..
3. Disconnect the neutral switch connector..
4. When the shift lever is in neutral and in a position other than neutral, verify that the continuity between neutral switch terminals A and B is according to the following table:

If not as verified, replace the neutral switch..

3. Rotate the DRL bulb in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure to remove
it.
4. Remove the DRL bulb.
